Flagingo is a bold pink-gin brand that struts with confidence. Developed for the Manchester-based distillery Zymurgorium, the brief called for a vibrant, memorable identity built around the brand name’s playful imagery and exotic flavour story.
An exotic twist
Flamingos are inherently eye-catching: exotic, flamboyant, unmistakably bold. That became the visual anchor. We created a lively word-mark and complementary illustration style that reflect the flamingo’s strut - using confident forms and expressive posture to set the tone for the bottle and label. The brand identity leans into tropical character without feeling gimmicky: refined artwork meets vibrant attitude.
Fun & fruity
The packaging draws on vintage style illustration, rich detail, and a fruit-forward narrative aligned with the gin’s flavour profile. The colourful illustrations bring character to the bottle and gift pack, instantly communicating that Flagingo isn’t just another pink gin-it’s playful, flavour-driven and built to stand out on shelf.
Print finishes that pop
Working in collaboration with print specialists Falconer Print, we applied layered finishes and custom gift‐pack construction to give the product a premium feel. The print treatments and packaging structure amplify the tropical, confident narrative - adding texture, depth and shelf-presence to the overall brand experience.
The result
Flagingo now occupies a standout position in the premium gin category. The identity gives the product a distinctive voice: one that appeals to both gin enthusiasts and trend-savvy consumers looking for flavour and personality. On shelf the brand is unmistakable, and within the market it now reads as something more than pink gin - it’s a brand with attitude and tropical swagger.
